My truck does the same thing. I am pretty sure that it has something to do with the carrier bearing of the two piece drive shaft. I have exhausted every avenue to try and fix the shudder. IMO it is pretty much a design issue of the drive line (two piece drive shaft). Santa Clause is going to bring me a custom Tom Woods one piece drive shaft for Christmas. That will fix the problem permantly. Toyota has made if clear to me that they are going to do nothing about this issue, so now I am forced to fix it myself and drop @$400.00 on a custom drive shaft. I have driven serveral trucks exactly like mine and they all do it to some degree or another, but this is not somthing I can live with like Toyot expects me to do. I love everything else about this truck though! Trust me when I say this, I have tried everything to resolve this issue.
