front main leak on a '05

i own a 2005 Tacoma reg cab 4x4 with 23000 miles on it. when i lifted the truck in the air to put the spacers on i realized i had oil all on the front of my motor. the wierd thing was that i had just taken it in for an oil change a week earlier and i guess they didnt notice it. anyways i took to the nearest toyota and the idiots told me it was from who put the oil filter on they did it wrong, so i drove it home and it was still leaking, so i took it to my toyota and they found out it was the front main seal and replaced it under warranty, has anyone else had this problem?

was it "still leaking" or did it still have oil on it? Oil was just changed by someone else + just noticed it probably = spilled oil all over the place when they took the filter off. They probably "replaced" the seal to make you happy. Then again maybe it was leaking...it happens
