Counterfeit PIAA bulbs on ebay?

I've been looking at PIAA bulbs on ebay as I want to go ahead and get the real deal on my truck instead of these knockoff Nokya's I have. My white Nokya's just seem DIM to me. I've run across this one seller's merchandise that has the cheapest price on them but the packaging just looks suspect. Like, basically the packaging is cheaper looking and different from ALL the other sellers that have pictures of their PIAA bulbs. What do you guys think?

Counterfeit?

Example of another seller - most all other sellers pics of packaging looks like this

Then again there seems to be a lot of variation in the PIAA packaging but those first ones just don't look *right*. Know what I mean?

There's alot of variation in the packaging because PIAA sells their bulbs all over the world.

Google search "PIAA 15660" (part number viewable in the picture) and you'll see a bunch of different sellers with the same package.

I'm not saying you have to buy those particular bulbs but I'd be hesitant to accuse them of being counterfeit.

Take a look at how they mark the packaging based on where they are selling the product. This is a pic I took of my bulbs I bought from a seller in Hong Kong.

Yea I looked some more and there's at least one more seller selling bulbs in that packaging. I decided to buy from another seller though because I want the "star white" rather than the "extreme white" as the extremes are described as white cool blue in color. I don't want any rice blue in my lights as that seems to just make them dimmer. Just a little filtering to get rid of the yellow natural halogen light color.

Yeah i've had those packaging before from piaa, i have the extrem white in my truck, and their awesome, the fogs only lasted a year which is a big bummer but my heads have been going on for almost 2 years. Also the color isn't the rice rocket blue, blue, but a slight tint, the light on the road is pure white, and i've have mutlipul times i i've gotten flashed with high beams since head lights are so bright.

There's actually hardly any blue in the Xtreme White bulbs. I have them on my Honda Pilot and they light up the road pretty well. The only thing I don't like is the fact that the tips of the bulb has that blue ceramic crap on it and it reflects blue in the lens which bugs the crap out of me, but oh well.
