Maxxis Bighorn Info

Anyone running Maxxis Bighorn's? They are rather cheap at 485 shipped off eBay. I searched TTORA and found a few posts but nothing all that great. They seem like they might be worth a shot for that price.

i don't know anything about them. but i firmly believe in staying with the major brands for tires. your safety depends too much on the tires

^x2. I know a lot of guys looking at a 255/85 16 size tire go with the Maxxis and most report good things.
Edit: Also anyone who is into MT Bikes would know all about Maxxis tires. They make some really good tires for bikes.

i used to race fourwheelers and i ran maxxis's. my friend has 33" Mud Brutes on his f150, and their tread life is very very short. they're also one of the loudest tires i've heard from inside a cab. that's just my opinion though.

I have run Maxxis buckshot mud tires on my older trucks a lot they have always been great for me i put them in the allterain range an offroad tire to me is a bogger. they make some noise but not too bad and i got about one and a half years out of them they is normal for me. i would get them.
