USA 06 DC Impulse Red!

Traded in my White 05 Access Cab this last friday for a NEW 06 Double Cab in Impulse Red. I had a thing for this color when I bought my 05, and I really liked the Indigo also. After a year and a half, I decided I needed the Double Cab and switched over to an Auto for convenience. Also got lots of extra options like JBL, Side Air Bags, Traction Control, Dimming Mirror, etc. etc. I got 20,500 for my 05 M6 w/18000 miles, would have liked more, and paid $200 over invoice on the new one w/3.9% financing.

Now the fun part. Got the 30% tint on the front windows done today. The 3" Toytec 885 coils and AAL just arrived! The Weathertech mats are on order. I can't say enough about the information on this site. I will be installing the lift within the next couple days and should have new wheels by the weekend. I'm going with 33 12.5 17's or 285 70 17's.

NOW how about some suggestions for wheels! I'm leaning towards 17X9 american racing Maxx/motto mt700. Also considering motto 951's, Dick Cepek DC1's, and Classics, but would consider a black wheel also. The last couple pics are the mt700 and a couple pics of them on a truck I found on cardomain. Hope somebody doesn't mind me posting them.

Comments/Suggestions.....

MOTTO MT700/AMERICAN RACING MAXX

DICK CEPEK DC1

PRO COMP CLASSICS

nice choice in color!!

i'm pretty sure you'll run into rubbing issues with either of those tire sizes, especially the 33x12.5. be prepared to a good bit of trimming work. if you don't like that idea i suggest sticking with a 265/75. thats what i have with my toytec lift so you can check out my pics to see how you like the looks of it

Welcome to TN! Great choice in color.

I like the DC1 but I would also go with 285 size tire. I can't wait to see it lifted.

Thanks for the replys.

I like the DC1's, but Im not sure I want to mess with polishing all the time. Too bad they're not chrome. But the price is certainly right.

I had 33 12.5 on my last one, they rubbed slightly on bumps in reverse. I trimmed the front and removed the mud flaps and they were fine. I'm leaning toward BFG AT's so I probably will end up with 285's.

BTW, you buys have nice trucks. One of the reasons I pulled the trigger one this color which I like the best now.
