The x runner is nice however dont expect to be able to do off roading in it.

Yea GM's have terrible reliability.

The x runner is nice however dont expect to be able to do off roading in it due to the extensions. Also you can expect top quality, reliabilty, and resale value. In these forums I dont think there are many, I know of a couple. You will mostly find the other tacoma models here.

Yea GM's have terrible reliability. I would rather buy a used toyota with 60k on it then buy a new gm/ford.

The xRunner is a sweet truck... no where NEAR as fast as your GTO though... but it will never give you problems and you won't notice much depreciaition either... I say go for it, but don't expect it to be very quick. They are fast for a truck though...

So much for that new 100k mile warranty...

Their new tagline should be "Now with an extra 2 years of ineptitude!"

I was very disappointed when the GTO came out. Looks like a Solara. They screwed the pooch royally on that "retro" design.

Since you're in GA the XRunner is a good choice. I wouldn't advise it to anyone north of the Mason-Dixon unless you have another vehicle to get you through the snow.

I would advise looking at customtacos.com as well. More of an XRunner crowd.

I looked at a Lightning, Costs more, used and I have had my doubts about the quality of a Ford.

I had the 350HP GTO, may try and get more HP out of the XRunner later.

Maybe couple your new X with the URD supercharger... then you wont lose as much speed coming from the goat.

The good thing is that toyota makes supercharger kits that I believe do not void the warranty. You should get 300+ hp with the TRD supercharger kit. I think it comes out in the spring.

Bet you my paycheck it doesnt.

yea the X is a fun truck and its something different. if you want power add the URD charger on it and it will dyno around 300-310rwhp with no other add ons. According to Gadgets dyno.

Sucks about the trade. It seems like the gtos dont hold value for a very long time. Two guys at work have them, one just bought an 04 with 7k miles for only $19k

Are you going to try a different dealer?
