I will finally settle all guesstimations concerning the addition of the CAI and Exhaust on our trucks. I have scheduled to throw the truck on the dyno Tuesday. I will share the results, bad or good. I have the TRD sport dbl cab V6 prerunner with the Trd CAI and the TRD exhaust. The truth shall be told.
do you have a baseline for your truck to get a really good comparison? Hopefully you have a dyno of your truck fully stock to compare the runs. I know the posted numbers, but I'd like to see an actual graph of the stock setup.
Make sure they are giving you corrected numbers for both days (this is fairly common). Also, make sure you're tire pressure is the same for both days, stock and modified. One last thing, make sure you do three runs with both setups. I had a '01 Z-28 that would actually dyno higher around the third run.

Called URD and intake should be ready no earlier than 10 Jan.
Not to bad, I wish I knew what it was before the intake and exhaust, but I believe I read somewhere that the prerunner with the auto was around 189 stock, so if that's true I gained 10 hps, whats weird is I stopped last weekend and test drove and X runner and my truck felt faster even with the auto, anyways here it is, you may have to blow it up to see it, sorry
unfortunately, this isn't much good unless you have a stock baseline for your truck. too many variables. every truck is different and will produce different numbers, every dyno is different and will produce different numbers. and of course elevation and weather impact the numbers as well. but as long as your happy thats all that matters
aww, sorry man but the dyno results are kinda useless w/o a base line, like tuscanTRD said too many variables like attitude, weather and milage. Well at least you posted them, TN has had it's fair share of the "I'll post dyno results soon..." people.
O well guessing your not willing to remove your exhaust and intake and have another run on the dyno
It probably felt faster cause your truck makes alot more noise now and its a mental thing
probably has to do with the auto thing from my experiences automatics vehicles "feel" faster then manuel vehicles even if their really not. Like my auto tacoma feels faster then my talon tsi. Which is ridiculous because the talon runs low 14s in the 1/4. Either way the guy gained HP i'm sure just how much we may never know.
