BIG speakers in the doors...

anyone know if 10's will fit in the front doors?
im going to go to a 3 way setup up front, and will be making some pods to go in the little recessed area above the stock locations for the mids, and want to put the midbass in the doors (multiple layers of deadening of course). eD finally came out with the sq10, which is a super shallow mount 10 (3"), that shows pretty nice response IB for midbass applications. i know itll fit depth wise, im just worried that their wont be enough clearance for the panel... think itll fit?
oh also i have a dcab, and i took out the smaller rear seat behind the drivers seat and put a 15" tc sounds tc-3000 ported in 3 cubes @ 32hz.... ill get pics...

I don't think there would be a problem. Here's some mock up pic's of a Morel HCW10 and my door.

Morels are great, they have a very shallow depth. They have very high power handling. And vocals sound great out of them. They can take a lot of abuse too.

I never did it.

But I think it'll work.

I probably won't be putting any more systems in my truck

I'm going to sell my truck and be car free for a while...

That's the first step to getting there, I can't afford to live in Hawaii and pay for this truck.

Speakers are just like a penis. BIGGER isn't always BETTER. A set of QUALITY SPEAKERS is the key, size means nothing. I suggest a set of FOCAL SEPARATES in the doors. Stop at any high end car audio shop and listen to FOCALS. They are truly extaordinary.
