my new Weathertech liners already paid for themselves
Had them for a few weeks now, and boy am I glad I bought them when I did. I dropped an entire 16 oz. coffee right onto the floor right under my feet as I was entering the parking garage at work.
I thought for sure the coffee went everywhere. Other than a couple wet spots on the door and dash, the new floor liner contained the entire spill and the truck is stain free. It didn't even leak through the holes for the hooks. I can't imagine how crappy that would have been if it went on the carpet. And, as luck would have it, I was wearing brown pants as well, so you can't even see the stain. At least I can get through the night at work and soak them in some Oxi-Clean overnight...
Funny thing is, I completely washed, waxed, and detailed the interior two days ago and the truck looks immaculate right now. Thank God it still does because of the Weathertech liners. I think I could have spilled a gallon and it would have contained it.
I never saw this spill coming: they come out of nowhere and you can't plan for them. If any of you are debating whether or when to get them, go ahead and pull the trigger for Christmas. You will be glad you did.
Thats my next purchase, thank you for reminding me Does the grey look dirty fast? or would black be a better choice?
Also since you are protecting your carpet you better get some covers on those seats! That coffee was a warning.
They can get a little dirty looking but they seem to wipe clean easily. I scrubbed them clean when I washed the truck...but they actaully are a bit of a pain to wie dry because of all the ridges. I now find myself just wiping some of the dirty spots with take-out napkins that I keep in the console.
Yes, I do nead some Wet Okole's...my seats are getting skanky pretty quickly.
nice one nice one. i too spilt some coffee last week, but it was minimal and not the whole cup. thank god for the coverage of our weathertechs. how do you take yours?

Holy crap! Did you manage to deflect the cup on the way down because I can't believe there was no splatter action? That worked out very well...
It all happened so fast I am not sure...I think I flailed a bit trying to catch it and maybe it deflected off my leg...
There was some spatter up high near the AC vents next to the door, because I had it in my left hand, and there was some splatter on the speaker grill in the door. It's kinda dark in the garage so I can't really tell if there's more, but I don't think ther is. I see in the pic that theres a bit of splatter just above the liner on the trannie hump...
All in all I was pretty lucky. BTW doc half and half, no sugar...
Nice save. I have the same grey weathertechs and love them. It is amazing how much nasty stuff they catch. A little simple green and they are good as new.
Did you get a straw and drink it out of the mats? That looks like a $4 cuppa joe.
Go to www.autogeek.net they are there and at checkout use discount code "AUTOPIA" for 10% off and they'll be at your door in about a week..
They also had free shipping last week, which they do quite often, I just checked and free shipping looks to be over, it would save you about $15, so if you don't mind waiting just wait until they have the free shipping again. I paid $81 for a pair of black front only last week
