Might paint my truck.

I am getting bored with my truck and want to paint it. The factory paint is shit so it will be a complete repaint if I decide to do it. The paint on the parts I painted is holding up fine so I will stay with impulse red on the bottom. I am thinking of a 2-tone scheme. Here is what I came up with.
Black and red with a silver stripe. I like it.

Looks good. The black centers on the wheels accent it nice. Did you lower your truck more when ou Photoshopped it? Makes your truck look classy, and definately more expensive.

I think the black line should be lower...like just below the door handles. Starting at the middle of the tail lights and just touching the fender flares and then ending with a slight curve down to the bottom corner of the headlights.

I like it, looks Chip Foose-ish, I would be interested in seeing it a little lower like the other guy pointed out, but you got right across the rear body line which I think is where you'd want it back there. Looks great, if you can get it done, you should

Honestly, I don't like it. I think it's the grill that throws it all off.

Have you thought about reversing the color scheme? Say have it painted black from the bottom up? Go up as far as the top of the bumper, paint the fender flares black and have a cut off right where the indentation is on the door?

Black head light mod would really tighten the package up IMHO

I didn't want to sell it to begin with. I am going to get the wife a bigger car so I can keep my truck. I am happy with my truck other than the fact that the factory paint blows goats. My painter buddy who painted my body kit will only charge me a couple hundred dollars for labor plus I would pay for the cost of materials. I will take it all apart and reassemble everything myself.

Oh, Good im glad your not selling it! Gost flames would be nice. I do like the style your leaning towards though. so basically in the back only the cap will be painted?

I wonder what it would look like with the tail gate black then strait down from there on the bumper . then on front bumper having it black following the center lines as well.....?
