Pricing out a 2007 Tacoma

I was looking at an 07 Taco this afternoon at one of my local dealerships. It is the off-road double cab fully loaded with everything model. It was priced at $30,200 MSRP and the salesman said he would sell it to me for cost +$200. Final price came out to be 27,869 plus TTL. Is this a fair price compared to what everyone else has paid?

You'll need to figure out what invoice price is. It may be different from his "cost" price. Check on Edmunds.com. and see what you come up with. The closer you can get to invoice the better of course. They will still make money on holdbacks and such.

I have the entire print out from consumer reports on the 07 Tacoma 4X4 DC, 4X4 DC 5AT, and the long bed. These are for the southeast region but i can tell you what they paid for the car and what the accessories cost. For example, what blew me out of the water was the Curtain airbags, they paid $34 for em and they charge you $650!!!!! Anyway i can give you some of the prices if you want em. or you can go to consumerreports.com and buy em for $30 bucks. It will save you thousands!

I am waiting for my truck to come in...supposed to be here tomorrow but the dealer says the truck hasn't even reached the port yet...so i guess i am waiting a few more days...i have been waiting two WEEKS!!! I cant wait for it to come in...

I just purchased a 2007 Tacoma double cab X-SP. Out the door it was $31,500.00. Before that, they wanted $36,000.00 with everything I wanted.

2007 - 4WD-AC-Sport TRD-Tow Pkg-AT-Tubes-Util#3-Super White. Paid $250.00 over invoice. Just added: XM Satellite-Extang Tonneau. This may not be the best deal, but it satisfied me. Delivered 4 weeks after order.

I bought a 2007 double cab, off road package, side curtain air bag, 6 CD changer, VSC, Snugtop cap, Westin Platnium step tubes, floor & door sil protectors, auto dim mirror, bed mat, and running lights. Out the door it was 30,900.

That was invoice +300 (that includes only the 500 dealer holdback). I didn't pay the wholesale finance reserve (two dealers said If I didn't it would be a deal breaker - it was I didn't buy from them).
