Fluid leak...

Well I just came back from having lunch with my mother and noticed that there is a healthy amount of liquid that came out of my truck. Formed a small pool directly under where it's leaking and a nice trail all the way down the driveway, about 30ft.

It's coming from ABOVE the frame rail on the passenger side, right where the cross member for the transfer case is at. Maybe a foot back from the body mount up front. It appears to be just water as it doesn't smell and is completely clear. I checked my engine bay and don't see any signs of a leak.

I did go wheeling last Saturday, but that's almost a week now. At first I thought it might of been ice just melting from that trip, but it's been up in the high 50s for the last few days. Any ideas?

A/C maybe?

I also left the winshield washer fluid reservoir open once after filling it and got similar results.

I'll check it again tomorrow when there's actually light to work with. Definitely not the windshield washer fluid or it would be orange. It could be the A/C. The fluid felt like condensation that builds up inside of a window mounted A/C unit.

Thought I'd let everyone know that whatever was causing the fluid to form under my truck is no longer there. I reached up above the frame rail where it was originally coming from and it was bone dry. Must of been water collecting somewhere and the slight incline of my driveway helped get it out.

My truck is running just as strong as it ever has.

my driveway is at slight incline, maybe 15 deg., and I get water dripping from the same spot. I've always assumed it was just the AC.

I tend to leave my climate control on defrost/floor, so the AC is constantly cycling... maybe i should re-think that habit.
