Toyota really needs to allow custom orders, like BMW Individual. With them, you can order any color you want (even non-BMW colors) and any interior material and color. You just have to pay for the vehicle when ordered. (i.e. financed fully or cash, etc.) Since the Tacoma is made on this continent anyway, shouldn't be a big deal. Just like ordering equipment in the configuration you want. They'll never do it though. Most of the customers don't care. Oh well...
I dunno about you guys but I want em to bring back that dark PURPLE or maybe that turquoise/teal color they had on the mid to late 90's generation trucks! Those were the shit!
But with all the sand and dust in our air here in AZ that Cady color with it's pinkish/brown underlying hues just 'fit' me. This from one who handwashes our ink every week.
When I ordered my truck in September of 2004, I ordered it in the dark grey. My dealership had a picture of the tacoma in dark grey. After about three weeks, my salesperson called and said Toyota was pushing off that color for a couple of years. So I got stuck with silver.
