Last night was a lucky night!

I was leaving from hanging out with my friends last night and I was driving down a 35MPH street going 55MPH.

There was one of those radar machines on the street and it light up in red saying 55MPH.

I was lost trying to get home and I made a left hand turn onto this one way street and all of a sudden I see a cop behind me, so I bust an illegal u-turn and he BAM, pulls up right infront of me with my HIDs flowing!

He shines that damn light in my face and asks me what is going on.

The officer was SUPER chill.

He asked me about my front plate, my tint and HIDs and I said I was so sorry for everything I did and he let me off the hook!!!!!!!!

I seriously wanted to buy him coffee or something, maybe a donut!

So to recap: Going 55 in a 35. Driving wrecklessly switching lanes, no signal. Illegal U-Turn, Tint, No front license Plate, HIDs = NO TICKET.

Tell me I am not the luckiest sonofabitch ever!

You were lucky Blake. He must have been in a good mood, and fell for your charm and good looks....

Thanks on the help with what HID's are... I couldn't tell if you were putting them in the headlight or mounted outside somewhere else.

So what's the deal with them being legal or not?

Spot
Your best bet is to just ask the local jonny law if you are concerned with staying legal or not.
