A full leaf pack will not always add to your load carrying capacity. Some of the Deavers actually decrease your load carrying capacity in order to get more flex out of the rear suspension.

Thanks guys! I know I've got a long ways to go!
I can't cover everything but I want to touch on most areas. So this can be a good start for people who are interested in doing a lift.

It's gonna be a work in progress, I'll work on it as I have time!

I'm not sure if I can cover shocks? There are just too many options?
I did touch on it a bit.

Toku, thanks for the killer info...I'm tired of looking at all the lifted Taco's on here and not having one for myself. I think it's about time I take the plunge...

...and don't worry. A nice new pair of shinny TC UCA's are high on the list.

the standard 10 pack deavers decrease stock payload. as do my custom alcan leaf packs. but damn the ride is so good.

Cool Updated the info. Do you have a link for the Alcan? If so I'll add it in there!
