Mine's in the glove box and remains untouched. I use the avic z1 interface to navigate. It's pretty slow though and I have 10000+ songs, so I usually just put it on shuffle.

Inside the center console, housed in the Console Vault, with a USB connection to the Alpine head unit. Nice thing about the Console Vault, I never have to take it out of the truck.

I have my Ipod exactly the same way LanNija has his in the center console. Out of site out of mind from thieves.
