$1500 wheel and tire budget..suggestions?

I want an agressive look with the tires sticking out on the sides for a wider stance. The truck will have a Toytec 3" lift also. What combo would you guys get if you had $1500 to spend?

I like the set up I just got earlier this week. 17" ProComp 7089 (black) Extreme Alloys with 285/70/17 Nitto Terra Grapplers.

this begs to be misquoted, for truth...

Please put flares/mudflaps on, as most people get pissed when flying rocks crack their windshields...

Are you actually going to wheel it, or crawl the mall?

Search the show your truck thread.

Discount Tire. I went looking for the same profile. What I found out was when the wheelbase on these trucks is widened by offset wheels, the ride quality and handeling deteriates substantially. Looks good though. They ended up swapping my offset wheels for some that were closer to stock offset. BUT, the good thing about buying the whole package at your local DT is they did the swap, plus a different tire with no surcharge and no hastle. You will not get that from an online dealer unless the wheel is defective.

They can get any wheel out there....just find what you like and have them check for you. My buddy runs discount tire direct here in Scottsdale corporate so if you were local...I could have you go see him.
