Are my tires good for another 10k?

I have about 40k on the OEM tires. I got my tires rebalanced 2 weeks ago and the guy tells me on the of the tires was way out of balance and asked me if I hit a pothole or something. I honestly don't remember.

I walk out of the supermarket today and noticed that same tire isn't smooth. It feels like it has small dents around it.

Is it good to drive on it for another 10k miles?

You're good to go right down to the wear bars, but it's good to drive more cautiously and change them out before you actually get there.

The dents you see are most common in LT-series tires that get inflated to the maximum and deflated repeatedly; and/or pull/haul heavier loads. Dents good, ballooning not.

Can't blame a dude for trying to make a sale and feed the babies. Tires are a rough business.

No, that means the steel is holding good but the elastomer/nylon belts are stretching.
