Just throwin out a little self-intro to say I'm stoked to finally have people to answer my questions
I'm runnin a black 100% stock double cab long bed 4x4. I'm living in Utah right now so if any of you live up here and need someone to show off to, or brag to, I'd be more than welcome to drool if the price is right. Just lookin out for ya. I know there are some threads I've come across while I was browsing around that I found useful, however I have some questions so here goes...
1. How do I black out the chrome on my grill?
2. (I know you hate this question, but I'm gonna ask it anyways cause I'm lazy and tired right now and I don't feel like searching on google) - I just ordered a 2.25 leveling/lift spacer for my front, and a 1inch block for the back, what are the largest size tires I can put on, without rubbing/trimming yadda yadda yadda... and still maintaining a somewhat-smooth ride (I carry glass and mirrors around for work)
3. Is there a certain brand of tire that is better than another for road noise, and all terrain abilities?
4. Is it possible to paint a chrome bumper black, or would it be easier to buy a new one? If not, where would I find one?
5. Why are there no decent looking aftermarket tail lights? My only complaint about my truck is the pink shaded tail lights.
6. Where can I find the best prices/selection of wheels? I am looking for black 17" off road-type wheels. I like the American Racing Clash, so if any of you know of something along those lines please let me know.
I have lots of questions since I'm a first time truck owner, let alone a Tacoma owner. No one in my family has owned trucks either so this is a new area of interest for me so if you folks like questions, I'm full of them! I'm lookin forward to some good times - so let 'em roll!
