Pink taillights

I did try to search for "pink taillights" so please do not flame me too bad. Please be gentle. Is there anyway to take the pink out of the tails??? Especially at the reverse lights. I think it would look so much nicer if they were nice and clear like the headlights. I don’t mind the tinted tails but around here it is just asking for a ticket or being pulled over. Aftermarket taillights are not an option for me. I don’t like the looks. Any help would be appreciated. THANKS!

you'd probably want to search "clear taillights", since you want to make them clear.

I don't think anyone has done it though. I just search clear taillights, there was some talk of it, but didnt see anyone that did it.

if you dont want to smoke them, take them to a paintshop, and tell them to mix some red toner with clearcoat, and let them make your tails more of a red. some process i did with my tails, except i used black toner, and not red.

^thanks amp2001. I do not want clear tails. I like factory looking red ones along with the tinted ones. I do not want the Altezza looking light. I was just wondering if you could make them look less pink and more red with a clear reverse light area. you know similar to a Tundra of do I dare say a Titan.

Thanks ezkiel. Do you know if you can make the reverse light area clear? Similar to how some of you have made the amber part of the headlight clear?

nope, i dont believe there is anyway to clear the reverse part.. its all apart of the lense.

By reddening the other areas of the lense, the reverse part should appear clearer in comparison, but it won't be as clear as the Tundra or Titan.

I think you should do it and post pics. It should look pretty cool.

i wonder what it would look like, if i didnt somke my tails, and instead use silver toner, on my silver truck... hmmm anybody photoshop that? on any silver truck.
