From what I have heard, you can't do the taillights like the headlights. The glueind is done much differently, and it does not release like the headlights when heated. For more info on tint with VHT niteshades, look here:
I did not do a write up, but it was as simple as removing two bolts on the bedrails after you open the tailgate, take the lights out, tint them with the spray, and clearcoat them, it was as simple as that. Anymore information needed PM me!

1) To take off the tail lights, there are two 10mm bolts. They are the top and bottom bolt on each side of the lights. Then just pull straight out, the tail lights are held in with clips.
2) Clean the tail lights with glass cleaner and then some rubbing alcohol
3) Spray on VHT NiteShades until you get the darkness that you want. Don't spray too much at a time, you don't want it to drip. If it does drip, just use some paint thinner to rub it off and start over. I used about 3-4 coats.
4) Let the tint dry for at least an hour. Then use an entire can on Krylon crystal clear spray paint. You have to use the whole can, half on each tail light. Spray the clear paint on thick, but don't let it run.
5) Now, let the clear coats dry for probably 1.5-2 hours. Use some 1500 grit sand paper and wet sand the tail lights until they are smooth.
6) Rub the crap out of them with some rubbing compound, I use 3M rubbing compound but any kind will work.
7) Rub wax on the tail lights and then take off. Finally, if you have one, use a mother's powerball mini and mother's polish and shine the tail lights up.
Hope this helps. This method is for the people who don't have access to a automotive clear coat. If you do have some who can spray an automotive clear for you, all you have to do it spray on the tint and then the clear. No rubbing at all.
