wheels for 2006 dc 4x4 trd off road

I have Dhoes ( 2.75 lift ) , deavers 10 pack , tc uca , demello sliders , all pro front bumper , etc , my question is with the 265/70/17 tires what wheels will look better 17x9 or 17x8 , with the same back space , considering that the 17x9 will stick out more than the 17x8 ? , there is not to many tacomas in my area , that is why I need your opinion

thank you in advance

17x8 is more than enough. i know some people like the look of a tire thats too skinny for the wheel. so if thats you, then get what you like. but i don't like the look of it, and it's horrible for wheeling. and with your setup, it seems that wheeling is a legitimate purpose of your truck

go with the 17x8.. less likely you are gonna curb the rim

17x8 will be enough but if in the future u plan on putting very wide tires then opt for the wider ones.

if you get the 17"s and get 33"s it bill not make a noticable wheeling difference....
