595 for 3" revtek lift installed deal or no deal?

when to an offroading shop today and got quoted for 595 for the 3" spacer revtek lift installed without an alignment for 595. does this sound like a good price or no? with alignment it will be 670 but i can get an alignment done from my friend for free so does 595 sound like a good deal?

I heard that the revteks break but 600 bucks sounds pretty good. I got a Tuff Country lift for around 800 bucks, installed, and it included alignment. It's absolutely solid and rides flawlessly.

screw the spacer man, go with the toytec coils. the install is not hard. do it yourself or have a member give you a hand. learn how your truck works and save some cash in the process.

$600 for a lift kit installed anywhere in California is a pretty good deal.

I paid $1000 for the same shit, so I suggest you take that.

$600 is about what I paid, I can't really remember, but I am sure you can find someone on here that will help you for free or maybe just a minor fee.

yeah im debating on this myself too cuz i dont really want to run the spacers. i told the guy at the shop and he said he never heard of toytec just only revtek. what i have in mind right now is getting the bilstein 5100's so i can raise the front by 2.5" and just get an aal for the rear what do you guys think about that setup? i might just fork it out and do this install myself too since i've done some installs on hondas and acuras before and this seems to be similar except for the rears.

Way easier than I expected. If you've worked on anything before, it should be a walk in the park. Took me roughly 4 hours to do the front and back. Do it yourself and save around 300 bucks. I got my 885s and rear blocks for 289.99 OTD.

Ditto. It ain't rocket science and it's a hell of a lot more interesting excuse for a party than most are.

Pretty much same setup I have, except Supersprings in the rear (similar to AAL, give about the same lift), and I love it. The truck rides 200% better than stock, reduced body roll, more stable, etc. I opted to not go with upper control arms due to the fact I was not at full 3" of lift, $$$, and we were able to get my camber to ) degrees and caster to about 1 degree. The truck is very stable at speeds, but transfers subtantial feedback to the wheel when going over bumps at slow speeds (no worse than any other lift vehicle). Anyway, that would be a good setup, and it is very easy to install. Myself and my brother installed all in under 5 hours, including alignment. Happy lifting!

I'm glad my fiance is mechanically inclined like he is. Lift was the Toytec OME and AAL lift. All together I think I was out $350 for the lift and alignment. Of course then another $460 in tires once that was on. Even he said it was easy as pie and would install it for minimal cost if any of my pals wanted one done. The springs can be a challenge without a good compressor is all. Hard to imagine paying $1K for a spacer lift but guess that's just the variance between CA and TX pricing.
