wow that original 40 sounds awesome! What are the in/out sizes of your mufflers? 2.5" or 3"? Both of your systems seem awesome but the problem is im just looking to get a muffler and not the whole system which would mean only a single exit. You think i could still achieve a nice sound with just a single exit muffler upgrade? Suggestions and Thoughts please!

if you want just the muffler....just get the 40 series 2.5 in/out and leave the factory piping. all they will have to do is cut out the factory muffler, and weld the new one in!! i think it will sound pretty aggressive....which imo=!

w/ the original 40 series flowmaster muffler and stock piping...any of you guys have droning on highway speeds in the cabin? That i the only thing i worry about..At least that is what i've read from Flowmaster's site the 40 series delta flow has some extra plates in the muffler to help with in cabin noise levels.

Thanks

I've got an original 40 Series in mine and have quite a bit of drone... I got used to it and threw in a pair of subs so I can barely hear the muffler now..

I have the delta flow 40 single in, dual out. Not the exact setup your looking for, but I can tell you there is very little drone at highway speeds in my truck. I love my setup.

Ok i'm going to get the 40 series delta flow...now anyone know which version i'm suppose to get if i want to re-use the stock piping and keep the muffler in the same location as the stock one? Also which inlet and out size should I be looking for to mate up with the stock pipes? Sorry for the 20 questions i'm new to all these.

Thanks in advance.
