I think a drop in, replacement filter is more in your budget. Such as K&N

best bet is K&N drop in filter. you might be able to find a deal on ebay for a open airbox filter. I don't know the exact name of the application but for that amount K&N drop in filter. Look at there web site for the model number and then go to ebay for the deal.

I've only seen one intake for less than $100 and I wouldn't trust it on my truck.

If you want to give it a try, it's made by "blinglights" and they sell it on ebay for $75+s/h.

It is a short ram intake though, which isn't really a cold air intake at all.

Here's a link to show you what kind of prices you're looking at for intakes.

http://search.ebay.com/06-tacoma-int...Zm37QQfromZR40

And here's the one for under $100

http://cgi.ebay.com/2005-2008-Toyota...QQcmdZViewItem

Also, do you know if he has a 4 cylinder or a V6? It makes a difference in pricing if he has the 4 cyl.

LOL i just looked at the bling light, and i wouldn't trust that for shit. HoeRunner has a pretty good option there, all you need is the recharger kit which is like 20 bucks, follow the directions of how to clean ther filter. I.E. wash it out under a sink, lol, and spary the oil back on after the filter has dried.

We're trying to stay on budget monkey boy.

And there you are showing her one of the most expensive intakes for these trucks.

Go eat a banana.

O.K, sorry, a K&N drop in will do, remove the secondary filter though.
