Wheels....

Ive got an 07 Taco Prerunner on order and presently planning on upgrading the wheels to the alloy wheel package which adds $400 Wheels are 16 x 7 aluminum alloys. What options are out there if any to upgrade to a better wheel for around the same price or a few dollars more that are a nice wheel? Don't want to look like every other Taco nor break the bank.

Whatever you do, don't finance the extra 400. it's not going to affect your payment and all that, but still, it's dumb. i'd go with some aftermarket wheels. there are tons of choices out there and for 400, you can get some decent looking chrome ones. i have the factory steelies on mine and can't stand them, but i'm too cheap to pay for aftermarkets. good luck.

Yes, the chambers are sweet! Someday when I have my pile of money saved for lift wheels and new tires these are what I want to get.

Though, they are pricey, at $800 they may be more than the OP is willing to spend.

My advice to OP would be to hold out on paying the dealer 400 for the wheels. If you have your heart set on the factory alloys, you can probably pick them up cheaper from someone online that is selling theirs. Or, put that 400 towards some aftermarket wheels

I would save your $400 and put the money towards some after market wheels like amp2oo1 said

I have a friend who has his TRD sport wheels for sale. They only have like 8k on the tires. You could probable get them from him for like $300
