Cold Air Intakes

I'm picking up my silver 05, crew, short bed, auto Tacoma this weekend. I'm upgrading from my 99 Ranger mainly for the increased hp for towing performance up here at CO altitude. I tow a 2k lbs trailer a lot, 10k miles a year or so, so I was looking at a few more ponies out of a cold air intake. What are the typical gains in hp and mpg from a CAI?

I did a search, but I only found one thread. I'm looking at the volant, airaid, URD, and K&N intakes. The Airaid and K&N are about $220 shipped, while the Volant and the URD are about $300 shipped. Does anyone have an preferance for a particlar brand, or should I just go with the cheapest I can find? Thanks for the help.

URD will give you the most ponies. I have the TRD cold air intake and love mine. Really your choice
