rancho shocks.

well since those bilstein 5100s aint gone be on sale for that low price on ebay anyday soon. im looking into buying some ranchos instead. there's like 2 4wheelparts stores near my house.

now i jus want to know which version of the ranchos are the same or close to the same as the bilstein 5100s...

here's the link...

http://www.4wheelparts.com/PLT100423.aspx?subCat=90

should i get the RS5000s or the RS9000X?

i did search and it seem noone has any ranchos on their truck around here.

here is an auction for the 5100s...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BILST...spagenameZWDVW

It says it includes 4 shocks, but only lists the front shock p/ns? Maybe ask that seller for some more detailed info? Worth a shot perhaps

probably because the 5100's are pretty much the same except for the front, reason for the part #. thats my guess.

the part number seems diff. this is what i got for the 5100s.

Front: BE5-C477-TO
Rear: BE5-C478-TO

I want to badly get a pair of RS9000X for the rear. I don't like the compromised dampening. I like the idea of having adjustable dampening for no load hiway cruising and then another rate for towing. But those shocks are so damn expensive.

Anyone seen these on the road yet.

Rancho and the local retail off road store her has been pushing these in their ads.

They are called QuickLift and pretty much use the same technology as the 9000 series
except they advertise a 1" to 2 1/2" lift and are supposed to work great if you are
looking to level out your truck a little bit. I heard that the retail was $150. each but my local 4x4 store is known for jacking up prices on new items.

Here is the link to the page that has a Flash ad
