Hyping up My Tacoma- Need Suggestions

I have a 2006 Toyota Tacoma V6 SR5 4x4. My camaro flooded last spring and bought my tacoma. I put a 3 inch lift with some 32 inch tires. I want more POWER. Im thinking TRD Exhaust or TRD Intake. I like TRD since they say there isnt much noise with it... i like being a sleeper. I am also thinking UNI Chip. Anybody got any recommendations. I want the most bang for my buck!!!

Any suggestions are appreciated.

URD cold air intake, URD Y pipe, dual flowmaster exhaust. Don't know much about the chips. You could also try a throttle body spacer.

Exhaust will help and so will an intake. Forget the unichip and the throttle body spaces...waste of money. If you want real power, this is the way to go: http://www.urdusa.com/product_info.p...s_id=126019804

Note that the URD intake sits in front of your radiator. Bugs, stones and anything else mother nature or the truck in front of you can throw at it will assult this filter. Not to mention all this happens to one side of it while the back side stays relatively unscathed.
Seems to me, the TRD sitting in a box will simply get uniformly dirty as the incoming air is swirled in, as it should.
Just my humble opinion as I don't own either as it is my belief the ECU will sense the increase in air flow and make the necessary adjustments bringing you back to a nil affect.
Did own a K&N. It didn't do Jack. It's sitting in a box full of nice clean air.

whats your budget, Zeezer depending on what K&N you had, an intake that can pull in more cold air actually works, your engine senses it and because the air is denser it'll produce more HP. I'm not a wize on this but thats what i know more air = more power too.

seems like the K&N dry-charger wrap would limit the effect of elements on the filter

Ahpuckett, how much r u willing to spend? I have the TRD intake and TRD exhaust but no MAF calibrator or anything like that. The changes were very suttle, i do feel a difference at higher RPM's though, maybe its due to not having a MAF calibrator or chip. I dont think you can get mucho power out your motor unless you beef up the internals or get a supercharger or somethiing like that. The TRD intake is pretty loud when u punch it hard, i must say, scare little kids in the streets!..haha . IMPO .

No, go with both. They will definitely give you a power boost. You just have to find the right ones. But if you want real power, you need the URD super charger.

No, im happy with it but im just saying the changes arn't gonna be like, Holy Sh*t!!.. ..intake and exhaust are the basics when your trying to add power, your gonna need it anyways..i say go for it, but see which intake/exhaust you really want. There r alot of options out there.

NO those are good things to increase power. OK you should just get bolt on stuff. i'll cost but you'll get power. Oh you won't pass smog but it's all bolt on so it should be ok if you need to smog you can just bolt back OEM. C2C Long tube headers, you can get the urd Y pipe or just go to a shop and tell them to take off the 2nd carb and reweld a new piece of pipe, exhuase system, Cold air intake, with a MAF. You can also get it tuned, and my guess is with this free flow exhause and pretty much very little restriction you might be able to push close to around 250hp at the wheel, it'll cost around 2k and you will no way in hell pass smog. for 5k you can just get the supercharger, that'll bump you to 300hp at the wheel. C2C has a turbo kit to for the same price as the supercharger.

True, little power more looks, or more power little looks. Depends on your budget, and also if it's just for show. some people just want power hands down, some just want a lil bit more umph but still be legal.
