Stereo no longer works

I just installed my PA12-TOY IPOD interface. I popped off the climate control face, unscrewed the head unit, plugged in the PA12-TOY cable (there's only one place to plug it in), then slid the head unit back in. Didn't fiddle with any other wires or connections. Problem is now the stereo doesn't turn on. I tried removing the ipod connector, but no difference. Does anyone know what the problem might be? Is there any kind of stereo reset function? I haven't checked the fuze box, so that's a possibility too.

First, check your fuse box. A blown fuse is the most likely culprit.

Another possibility is that you could have accidentally cut a wire or disrupted a connection when screwing the HU back in. I did this when replacing my stock HU with an aftermarket one. When screwing the new HU in, the batt wire got caught between the HU bracket and the mounting frame. When I tightened the screw, the bracket pressed up against the frame and severed the batt wire. Obviously, my HU didn't turn on. Maybe something like this happened to you? If that did happen, you'll most likely also have to replace the fuse as well.
