need opinion on wheels

I'm at a loss on this wheel config, and if someone could point something out that I'm missing that would be great.

I have an 07 dbl cab long bed 4x4 and I'm looking at getting these wheels but I'm getting mixed feedback from sites that 'fit your truck' to whatever will work. some say yes, some say no.

here are the specs.

17x8.5 with -6 offset and 6-139.7 bolt pattern

Or I might go for the 18's which are:
18x9 with -12 offset and also 6-139.7 bolt pattern.

how far should I expect the tire to stick out with a -6 or -12 offset?

would it be the offset, or the pattern? or maybe just the design of the wheel? any feedback would be great. suggestions welcome too.

Oh and I'm putting on a 2.25 lift in front, and 1" in back till I can afford some real suspension.

thank you!

The 17's should fit, and the 18's should as well. I have a 20x8.5 with a -18 offset and it still fit up. The 9" wide 18's with a -12 offset should be okay too (wider rim, but less offset should cancel itself out), but have a shop order one up and dry fit the wheel first. If it clears the caliper and UCA, you're golden!
