Loaded the Taco............

My trailer had 32 sheets of 7/16" OSB, 4 5X8 sheets of drywall and 4 bags of redi-mix. The bed of the truck had 8 bundles of shingles, two rolls of ice and water shield and 6 PT 4x4x8s.

Quite a weight total which the Taco handled with no problem.

The guy at Home Depot said "this might be a little too much for your, as he called it, "Toyotee" which made me even happier to have hauled it all in one trip.

Hauled me and three buddies to the Padres game. That's about 900 pounds of chewed bubblegum.

Handled it with aplomb.

This thread brought back memories of last summer, when I hauled 1500 pounds of tile to my new home for installation.

Drove like a charm!

I should have added that I have the Hellwig 1,500s on my truck. (best addition ever) I'm building a storage shed and enclosed walkway from my garage to the shed.

Pics? It's not like every time I use the truck I stop and capture the "moment" on film.

I haven't even taken a pic of my truck at all. Does anyone really even want to see a base model silver Taco?

Of course we want to see the stuff you haul. I take a pic of everything I tow, except my 18 ft boat. I have yet to take that picture, i just to tow it that often.

I remember the original post by Locust. I believe you planted a Japanese maple as part of this landscaping project? How is the tree doing?

I planted one of these myself a month or so ago. It seems to be doing well, but the real test will be this winter when it's not uncommon to get to -30 or colder here in the NEK of VT.

lol, it was the most "loaded taco" that I could find by searching via Google images within the first few pages. :P

Some of the other ones just didn't look right.

Here in Texas, they look much better than that :P
