Overhead Temp/Compass console/rear differiential lock

Hi guys

i have a 2007 tacoma prerunner 2wd sr5 package #2 (non trd)

and i want to know about how much it costs to install the overhead temp/compass mod.

I also would like to know if it's possible to have a rear differiential lock installed on the truck...

As far as the rear Locker goes, if you're going to get one, look into the ARB air locker instead of the stock TRD one.

The overhead console.. well they're going to rape you at the dealer, better bet would be to find a wrecked tacoma that had one and steal all the parts off of it. By steal, I mean buy from a salvage yard.

i agree with johnecon. go with an arb air locker if you want a locker for the rear.

as for the compass/temp guage. there is a guy that sells replacement rearview mirrors with homelink/compass/temp guage built into it. that would probably be the cheapest/easiest route. i don't remember the details about the mirror/seller, but do a search here. it shouldn't be to hard to find.

I definately want the home link mirror one of these days. Just gathering up Christmas ideas.
