Exact difference between TRD off-road and sport pkg?

Just like the title, I'd like to know what exactly it is that makes the difference between the off-road package and the sport 1 and 2 package in the V6 double cab 6-speed 08 Tacoma. I have a brocheur from the dealership but it seems pretty vague to me. Could someone please clarify.

1) Are there different components in the suspension?

2) Is one a higher ride height than the other?

3) I also take it that the off-road does NOT have a limited slip differential but rather has a locking diff and the sport 1-2 has a limited slip but not a locking diff? -meaning there's no locking switch on the dash in the sport 1-2?

Besides the above, I then also need to know what's the difference between the sport 1 and the sport 2 package. From what I gather in the brocheur, 2 only has an additional auto dimming rear view mirror correct?

Thanks

I thought there was some other stuff about heated external mirrors
and dimming rearview that were options on the sport but on the OR?

'Didn't matter much to me cause I knew I wasn't gonna $hell out
for that stuff anyhow.

I loved the non-chrome grills on the Sport though. WTF was Toyota
thinkin' that offroaders like chrome???

Yeah I liked the features of the Sport but I needed the locker. Some of the areas I go to fish a locker is a must!

I wish they would offer the locker on the sport pkg.

Anyway, I put in an order for an 08 dc v6 sr5 6-speed trd sport 1 in the lighter of the 2 blues. Step-bars and hard tonneau cover to be installed as well. Oh, 3 other quick questions:

1) does anyone have a link this vehicle's 1/4mi track test time?

2) will this thing fit in a standard sized 2 car garage?

3) is there anything different about the 08 or is it just a carry over (meaning production specs stayed the same as previous year) not sure if I'm using that term correctly btw.

1/4 is in the mid 15's, I believe.

Width wise, yes it will fit in the garage, length, it depends. I have a laundry sink in mine and I can't fit the truck.

No differences that I've seen. Looking at the site, looks exactly the same, options and all. Hence the reason I bought an '07 less than a month ago. Why not get a better price on the same thing?

Sport also has color matched door handles and mirrors in addition to the bumper and grill surround. Plus many Sports come with Bridgestone Dueler HT tires, at least the 07's.

USA Off Road Package Has Lsd

I CALLED TOYOTA MANUF. NOT DEALERSHIP! (THEY DIDNT KNOW) AND ASKED THEM IF THE OFF ROAD PACKAGE WHILE IN 4WD LO OR HI IS LIMITED SLIP DIFF AND THEY SAID YES I ASKED WHEN REAR LOCKED IS ON ARE THE FRONT TWO STILL IN LIMITED SLIP AND THEY SAID YES ...I HOPE THIS ANSWERS ALOT OF QUESTIONS AND IF ANYBODY COULD FOLLOW UP THAT WOULD BE GREAT! BUT I WAS ON HOLD FOR ABOUT 8 MINUTES WHILE THE GENTLEMN WHO HELPED ME WENT AND ASKED HE EVEN GAVE ME A PHONE CALL REF. # ..... SO LIKE I SAID OFF ROAD HAS LSD. IF YOU THINK ABOUT IT ITS ALOT BETTER TO HAVE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS JUST INCASE BUT AGAIN SOMEBODY ELSE CALL AND ASK JUST VERIFY TO BE 1000% SURE
AND IF YOU DONT KNOW WHAT LSD IS ITS (LIMITED SLIP DIFFERENTIAL) A SMART CHIP THAT TELLS THE COMPUTER TO TRANSFER POWER TO THE TIRES THAT ARENT SPINNING! ALL 4 TIRES START OUT W/ 25% POWER
(4 TIRES X 25 = 100%) AND THE COMPUTER WILL TRANSFER POWER TO THE TIRE NOT SPINNING THUS MOVEMENT IT I BELIVE THE TUNDRA DOES HAVE IT BUT ITS NOT AS FAST AS THE CHEVY R GMC TRUCKS THAT HAVE IT ..THEIR IS A VIDEO ON YOURUBE THAT SHOW HOW IT WORKS KIND :o/

SO I BOUGHT AN 08 TACO OFF ROAD PACKAGE CREW CAB MANUAL 6 SPEED LOVIT LOTS OF POWER

I don't think so. He might have been referring to the 09 with the rumored A-TRAC upgrade... TRD OR do NOT have an LSD on 05/08.

I believe you got the wrong information.
One explanation why I think so: only TRD sport owners ever reported chatter from the rear diff after changing the fluid without adding extra LSC additive. I changed mine (TRD offroad) without using any additive, and got no problems.
Also, I don't think that the front differential is LSD on either Sport nor LSD.
