Man, I just realized I haven't been around here very much lately. I've been over on ttora.com alot, so I have forgoten to show TN some love. This is just a quick update on some stuff I've done recently.
I painted my chrome grill black. It looks SO much better IMO.
I got this done yesterday. I'm waiting to see how the sound changes as I drive it a little. They always mellow out a little.
I also installed a URD shortshifter and some Bilstien 5100's in the rear. They are actually valved for an F150, so they so they are a little stiff on the street, but awesome offroad. I also removed my sway bar which improved driveability considerably. I took my truck box off, so I have my whole bed again, which is cool. I also got my slider replaced under warranty because it fell apart. Well, I think that's everything for now!
Is that photoshopped or did you actually paint your wheels?
I like the black painted grill surround much better. Also, your muffler will get louder as it breaks in, but it will also get a little deeper and more consistent.
They are actually painted. I bit the bullet. I've been pondering it for a long time, because I can't afford wheels right now. I finally just did it. Oh, and I REMOVED my swaybar, the stock one from the front. Because of the lift and the lack of longer sway bar end-links, it was binding up and backing it ride very very stiff. Besides the softer suspension is better for playing in the desert.
