Thanks for the suspention TSB info.

I just wanted to say thanks to those who have been helpful here on TN.

I have the Pre Runner long bed, and the suspention bottoms out when the rear is mildly loaded or if I have 4 adults in the DC and hit a speed bump. I just chocked this up to the Tacoma not being as heavy duty as my previous POS F150.

After reading many posts and finding the TSB that was posted on line, I made a call to my dealer and faxed hin the TSB. I am in waiting for my 4 new Bilstine shocks and 4 leaf pack leaf springs to replace the 3 leaf pack springs that came with my o6 taco. They are also doing a 4 wheel allignment.

Its all free!!!!

I will post up when I get them put on the truck, but I just wanted to say thanks.

Did you do this with just a call or did you have to bring the truck in first?

I Just called, and explained that I was having an issue since I bought the truck. I researched the issue on line and discovered others were having the same problem and that Toyota issued a TSB addressing the complaint.

He said he wasnt aware of the TSB, so I faxed it to him. About an hour later he called back and asked for the mileage on my truck so he could start a service write up, and to inform me the parts were ordered.

I am just waiting for the shocks and springs to arrive at the dealer so I can drop off the truck,

Glad to hear Lightning's good luck story. I mentioned that my truck (2006 DC 4WD non-trd) bottoms out to my dealer during a visit for a state inspection yesterday. When the service advisor told me my truck was ready 45 min later, he let me aknow bout the TSB and said he callwhen the parts came in. I double checked the service order with the parts listed here on TN and it matched. It was a nice experience for once. Kudos to Courtsey Toyota in Berlin, VT & Lightning's dealer too.
