keyless entry/lock question

Hey Guys,

i was looking in the manual, and it doesn't say anything about this option, was just wondering if it is possible to make the horn beep when you press the lock button on your fob 2 times. ????

cheers
Dave

If you have the factory alarm or just a keyless entry option it is not possible. After market alarms normally have it available.

I wish it would do this as well...and I am sure there is a mod that could be done, but nobody has done it yet.

A few of us have done this. Just add piezo buzzer to the wiring for the power door locks. I ran that wire through the fuse box and installed the buzzer near the horns. Ground to the radiator frame. I think it was a 90db piezo buzzer from Radio Shack.

you can make it beep, just not honk the horn itself. i personally hate ones that make noise.

I prefer it not honking... annoying imo.

I wouldn't mind a simple, quiet beep though.

I usually hit the lock button just a few steps away and I can hear the locks doing their thing.
