rear leaf replacement and lift

Just had my rear springs replaced with the 4 leaf replacement. Prior to replacing I had the 884 coils in front and the AAL in the rear with the 3 leaf pack. With 265 70 17's, I was measuring 39 1/4 from the ground to the top of the arch on the rear. Now with the 4 leaf pack I'm measuring 37 1/4 for a 2" drop. I was hoping to only lose an inch or so. Not too happy with the stance now as it is nose high. No question is rides better as the rear springs aren't as stiff as they were with the AAL but I would like to gain some height back. I don't really want to put the AAL back in as I'm going to go the other way and then be too high.

I'm looking for about 1 to 1 1/2 inch increase in the back. Any suggestions? Also this is a 2005 Double CAB Sport with a Leer cap.

+2, except I used the ToyTec 1.5" block and the axle shim (instead of RevTek). Truck is maybe 1/2" higher in the rear.

I stayed away from the AAL and 4-leaf spring for the same reason. The rear is still stiffer than the front with 884s, but it feels like a good mix. I expect the rear of a truck to be a little stiffer.

Here is what it looked like the day I got it all installed. The rear was exactly /14" higher. Now, 3 weeks later, the front has settled maybe 1/2" so the rear is now 1/2" to 1" higher, if that.

Did you install the spacers? If you did you could probly remove them and it will take away about 1" on front. It's an easy way to level it.
