aries nerf bar problems....

I just got my aries nerf bars today and when i tried to install them i cannot get the passenger side one to fit. I cannot get the holes in the rear to line up because whenever i try to line them up the front of the bar hits the bottom of the truck. Any ideas?

Nobody?

i believe there are 2 different brackets, ones for the front, and ones for the rear, did you get those mixed up?

I think the bar is either bent or the holes that hold it to the brackets weren't drilled in the right place. I'm really not sure. I basically had to get someone to stand on it while i tightened all the bolts to get it on but it still doesn't seem very straight. I"ll try to get some pics tomorrow.

I just noticed this evening that the end of the bars at the front of the truck sit a lot higher than the rears... in fact they are still really close to rubbing the bottom of the truck. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

hmm... I had to play with mine a little putting them on but they went on fine... my only problem is now the plastic step is cracking around the edge. I have had mine for a year now and that's the only problem I've had with them.
