See I saw the Silver Tacos one so I thought that I would also like to know how owners of Black Prerunners handle problems, if any and what they like. The fact that I had missed the thread you showed me is an example , maybe some new stories. I am sure your right Thanks for the link...Rich
Sorry what are side steps. Are they shown here. I know side bars same thing right? Are they hidden under the doors.I am looking for Black side steps(side bars). I checked the Raptor page, but only saw the stainless with the Black inserts...They have a great deal going right now.. Do you have an open door shot or a different angle to see more of them?-Rich

A prerunner is a raised Tacoma to the height of the 4x4. I have the 4x2 Double Cab Long Bed yet it looks like the 4x4. it makes for a much better higher ride then the regular Tacoma. I have had the regular and they ride very low. In the rain one truck goes by and you feel swamped, besides look at the Prerunner . There is the difference.... Try one you'll like it...Rich
I am not burning on the 4x4s. If I offroaded I would have bought that package. I like the look and the raised effect. I have no idea how to raise or add all the cool things that the people here do and do so well with all the great Mods etc. I always wanted a Prerunner , I had to get a Ranger , this is what I always wanted. I hope I am not offending anyone. I haven't had a Toyota truck for about 10yrs. I am just trying to get some info through the forums...
