Question Problem with Goodrige brake lines from Wheelers?

Just opened my package from Wheelers to find my new TC UCA and SS brake lines, but I am a bit confused/worried at this point.

I am not sure if I actually got what I asked for. When talking with Jason, I said that I wanted the 4" extended lines, and when I asked him if that is what they carried, his response was something like "Ya I think so..." Maybe that should have been a red flag right away for me...

Anyway, here is what I have..

FRONT

Distance between green lines is 7.5"

REAR

Distance between green lines is 18"

Am I measuring them correctly? I thought 18" was the stock length, which means I didn't end up with what I wanted. I went down to my truck and held them against the stock ones (the rear ones at least, the fronts look short but I have to walk back down to the parking garage and double check them), didn't seem like they were really different.

Can anyone tell me if I am measuring them correctly? I have looked high and low on the packaging, and find NO Goodridge part number on them. Do look or measure the same as you others that have ordered extended lines from Wheelers (or anywhere else)????

7.5" up front and 18" in the rear measuring the same way you are. Those are long enough.

They sent me the wrong ones too. Mine are BLINE 04X, male on one end female on the other. Won't even screw on, and of course I didn't notice that until I had a puddle of brake fluid on the ground. I just bent the brake line fixture and flexed out the rear end a few times, with my rear springs I can't get enoug flex to hurt the stock lines anyway.

Thanks Grimm.

If I remember, you have the Dakars, right? That's what I'm putting on as well.

Did you get the extended ones? When I hold them up next to the stock lines, they dont really seem 4" longer, but maybe it's b/c I can't really get a good look without the truck jacked up some.

Yea I have the dakars. The stock brake lines are 16 3/4". For the dakars the 18" lines are long enough. There is plenty of slack at full droop.

I ordered 4" extended lines from cardomain. When I went to install them they were the same size as the oem (thankfully I check them on the truck). I called goodridge and they confirmed they were the oem size. I asked who they would recommend so I could get the right ones and they gave this guy named Monte Holt from bits & pieces motorsports. the new ones are on there way. By the way, the complete set of goodridge 4" extended lines part number is
4-21155.

Not to thread jack but how long does it take to get 'em from cardomain? Order mine last weekend and order status said it hasn't shipped yet.
