Dumb question, but how do you remove the coin tray which is located just below and to the right of the steering wheel? I want to put my aux in jack there for my mp3 player...
Can you tell me more about the brake controller? I've upgraded from a pop-up to a travel trailer and the dealer said they need to put a break controller on. I know from ready the owner's manual, that I already have the harness and wire adapter. They are just suppling the controller and installing it.
They said they'd install it, so I can get to it if/when I need to use it manually. I really don't understand why I'd have to do that. Obviously, with yours mounted back there, you don't need to "touch" it.
Any info you can give me would be great.

Is that a coin holder in the automatic ?? That is where my parking brake is on the stick.

Yes only the autos have a tray there.

No, I do need to touch it, and I can. I leave the coin holder out when I'm towing. Actually, too lazy to stick it back in when I'm not.
You need to be able to access the adjusting wheel to adjust the gain of the brakes. You also need to be able to pull the manual application lever to straighten out the trailer if it starts to fishtail on a steep downhill.
I tend to bang my legs into controllers mounted just under the dash (the typical spot) so I wanted mine where I couldn't strike it. I get in and out of the truck a lot, particularily when hooking/unhooking the trailer.
