New York State Laws regarding headlights

Im interested in getting an hid kit for my headlights and am wondering if any1 from ny or anywhere else knows if i may be braking the law with the headlights. If it helps, heres the link for the kit: http://www.xenonlink.com/product_inf...products_id=89

I have an HID kit from Ebay. (search if your intrested) I never get flashed. I dont think Im breaking the law as long as the lights and shield are installed properly ect..

edit: the shield on the bulb in the link you posted sucks. Buy the kit I bought here
