Synthetic Oils

I have a 07 Taco DBL Cab 4x4 with 12K miles on it. I have been running mobil 1 synthetic oil since the first oil change. Not much of a gear junky, but learning more and more each day so I was wondering what other oils in the truck should be replaced with fully synthetic oil (ie transmission, differentials, etc)? And what are peoples opinions on switching over to fully synthetic (pros and cons)? Thanks!

I put full syn oil in the tranny (6spd), transfer, and front diff at 20K. LSD Rear Diff used syn blend. I put on alot of miles on in the winter, often in 4wd, so figured why not put in the good stuff. Everything works great even when its zero.

Do you need to run full syn? no. But in temps as cold as -30F, conventional oils are approaching their pour point.

most fluids in the tacoma can be replaced with synthetic except the auto tranny fluid. It requires expensive Toyota longlife stuff and using anything else will void the warrenty.

i'm running mobile 1 in the engine and rear diff and probably will continue to do so.

Pros:
Superior protection
Run it longer then conventional
Might increase some MPG (i gained about 1.5mpg average when i switched to synthetic)

Cons:
Cost more
