Rechargeable flashlight mounted

I frequently have the need for a flashlight in or around my truck, so I installed the smallest rechargeable flashlight that I could find. It's a Streamlight Strion --5.3" long and 12,000 candle power. If you believe the manufacturer's hype, it's the world's most powerful flashlight for its size. I will say that when I use it at night it is very bright, and you can manually focus the beam. The unanticipated benefit was that plastic charging cradle almost exactly matches the color of the stock console. I mounted it on the passenger's side of the console, and it doesn't intrude on the passenger space as a practical matter.

I like it! Did you get a better deal than this?
http://www.streamlight-flashlights.com/strion.html

I have 3 Surefires but none of them are rechargeable. Would love to have that feature especially in the truck.

No, that's the same deal I got. Expensive, but if you frequently need a flashlight, worth it.

Big whoop. Help me figure out where to mount an SL-20xp in this thing. I need it for work, but can't find a good spot in this cab. Damn taco is a sports sedan shaped like a truck.

Won't fit there or behind the seat. It has to hang to make contact with the charger.

Am thinking about trying to fit in the extreme rear corner, outside the storage bin.

Sorry for thread hijack. That little streamlight looks nice, just too small for what I do.

I have the same light and charger but I mounted mine in the center console on the back wall. I hooked it up to an add-a-circuit on the fuse box. I love it!

Nice torch, kimera!
Do you have a sidearm mount to go with it?

There's this one from http://www.endroad.com/page/page/675042.htm

Personally, I like using a camping headlight to keep both hands free.

Yes, I do have a sidearm mount in a less visible place. It's like this one:
