Truck accesories shop told me something very strange yesterday

he had a customer come in with an 08 and wanted performance stuff for it. The only kicker was that it had a 4.7L V-8 in his Tacoma.

The shop owner questioned him because he knew that was not nromal. the customer swore up and down that it was.

That 6 sure looks like an 8 at first glance!

"Hi, I have a V8 Tacoma and I want something to give it a little more 'umph'... it feels a bit weak." Sure dude.

I used to screw with parts people. I would ask for an upper radiator hose for my 1960 VW Bug.

I used to say that I was looking for blinker fluid or muffler bearings, if the guy was smart he would laugh, sometimes they actually looked.

There are a couple new Tacomas with V8's, but they are totally custom show truck jobs. Lots of work, and lots of money.

Sounds like the guy needs one of these:

Quote:
Most cars suffer from this horrible malady - a loose nut behind the wheel!! But not anymore. Only one company had the foresight and brilliance to bring you this product - The Pilot Wrench. Quickly tighten the nut behind ANY wheel for instant improvements in responsiveness, handling, and braking! Please indicate how big of a bolt head is behind the wheel before ordering! If unsure, ask your friends. Also available in metric.
