Question Cold cranking Amps (CCA) and the 4.0 v6

Auto zone recomends a 600-750 CCA battery. I want to do a dual battery setup. Would it be wise to get 2 batteries with a little less CCA? I want to run them like this setup. But need the clearence of a smaller batery. I cant fork over 400$ for yellow tops at this time. But for 140$ I can get 2 duralast batteries that have the same warenty (3 year free replacement)

here is how I want to mount them.

lol you're all over the place today.

I assume with the dual battery setup you want more power. If this is true why would you do two batteries that together have just a bit more than your stock?

I would either put the largest battery you can fit under the hood, or the TWO largest batteries.

just make sure you know what your doing when you wire them, not to wire them in series, or you'll fry your shit.
