wheel fit

the helo maxx6 comes in 2 - 17" sizes for my lifted 07 prerunner. 17x9 w/-12 offset. and 17x8 w/0 offset. what one to i choose. does one stick out more. any rubbing issues? whats the deal. im ordering online so i want to be 100% sure it fits, thanx for help

thats what 0 offset is on an 8 inch wide rim, which is his second option...

both of those sizes you posted have 4.5" bs which is ideal, however I imagine you will run into more trimming issues with the wider 9 inch rim.

Doesn't zero offset mean the mounting surface is centered? Isn't 4" the center of an 8" wheel?

At any rate, regardless of the width of the wheel, as long as you do not have more than 5" of backspacing you are okay...for that aspect of the wheel fitment anyway. Have you measured the backspacing of the wheels you have now? Rear Spacing = Back Spacing.
