I have mine mounted to the little door on the bottom of the dash on the left side. It is not too bad as far as being in the way.

I mounted my brake controller under the steering wheel, not easy to see but easy to get to. There are very few places to mount a brake controller in our trucks.

I mounted mine underneath the temperature controls using velcro and cut a small hole through the cuby compartment to feed the wiring. It has worked well for me and I find it very convenient as far as usage is concerned.

Hmmmm... I wonder if I take off the mounting bracket and use velcro if I can mount it over the park brake handle? I'll have to check that out. Thanks!

I bought some of those 3M picture hanging strips (it's kinda like velcro) and mounted it under the dash by my right leg. I used 4 strips, 2 on the top of the brake controler and 2 under the dash. I unplug and unvelcro it when I am not using it and put it in the glove box. The 3M strips are great because you can remove them anytime without any marks or residue.
