This just made my day this morning. Looks like someone used their foot to make some scratches on my door, and the rear door. Pictures aren't very good, the camera was fogging up from the humidity. I don't know if it's worth reporting, I don't know who it was. I was parked like I usually do, and my door was facing away from the rest of the parking lot, in the last spot, so there is no way it was an accident. If I ever find out who did it,
Anyway, they don't look too deep, the rear door is a little dented though. Should I take it somewhere, or buy a porter cable?
Hey Rhino , i feel for ya .
If i caught someone doing that i would be put in jail for my actions .
ya maybe a PC would buff that out .
I sure PB can reccomend some good polish .
My guess is it was young kids or teens .
let us know how you make out bro .
Dude that's fucked up. Definately looks like someone was leaning with their back against your truck and their foot up. Who the fuck does that to someone elses vehicle? Just last week I went outside @ my job to smoke a cig and some chick was leaning her ass up against my bull bar. (almost sounds hot) I just scarred the shit out of here with the panic button. Anyway, looks like most of that will buff right out. Can't really see the dent, but you should be able to get to it from inside your access door and try to nudge it out. If you find the guy, he definately needs a smack up side his head.
I think it's time that someone invents some motion detection video cameras mounted on the side mirrors. PB?

It almost looks like dog scratches but if it was there would be two on each door. Thats messed up man I feel for you. I would be pissed. I always park way the hell away from everyone but sometime even that doesn't work.
i'm sure a good polish job will help it out a lot. but probably not completely. a good rule of thumb is if you can feel the scratches with a fingernail, you won't be able to completely repair it. door dings urk the sh#t out of me, i would really be pissed if i saw that.
it probably isn't worth reporting, the police have about a 0% chance of finding who did it. but then again, if by some miracle you find out who did it. reporting it to the police now would help out. good luck
Wow, that's a terrible way to start off a weekend. You're right though, whoever did it will get their's in the end. Good luck polishing it up. It doesn't look too deep, but I doubt you'll be able to make it completely disappear. Maybe this is just life's way of telling you that you need to build up a trail rig.
I was parked at my apt. complex, last spot, well two technically, I double park so no one can park close to my truck, drivers side facing away from the rest of the area. It is an off campus complex for college students, so I'm guessing it's some punk who felt like being a jack*** There's no reason for anyone to single my truck out because of me, I only know a few people in the complex, and I'm friends with the ones I know, or at least friendly, just don't hang out. I'm guessing someone just saw a nice truck and wanted to feel cool or something, I don't know.

I would only harm a truck like that if the owner was wearing a Stihl t-shirt.
I actually am wearing a Sthil shirt right now...
I'm just bummed out because I do all I can to avoid scratches. If I did it, that's one thing, but when someone else does this sort of thing.
I'll look into getting a PC. I know nothing about polishing really, so the searching begins.
Thats really uncool. I can't believe this crap still goes on. But I know how you're feeling and I definitely would be in jail for a long time if I found somone messing with my truck.
